1st Resurrection: Jesus – the first born, the first, one and only resurrected so far…

-         Matthew Ch 28:5-7 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
-         6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
-         7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
-         John Ch 20: 17 17Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

2nd Resurrection: Dead Saints – saints lived since Jesus resurrected

-         I Thessalonians Ch 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
-         I Corinthians Ch 15: 51, 52 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

3rd Resurrection: Living Saints – who are living on this earth today

-         I Thessalonians Ch 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

4th Resurrection: Enoch & Elijah – 2 old testament prophets taken away in flesh

-         Genesis Ch 5: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
-         II Kings Ch 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
-         Revelation Ch 11: 3- 11
-         3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
-         4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
-         5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
-         6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
-         7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
-         8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
-         9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
-         10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
-         11And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

5th Resurrection: Martyrs – who die during the tribulation period

-         Revelation Ch 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

6th Resurrection: Old Testament people who obeyed His commandments, are near and dear to God the Father

-         Old Testament people were not born of water and spirit. They didn’t have the salvation, redemption from their sins through the blood of Jesus. But those people will be part of the millennium, but not part of the 7 years of celebration at the mid heaven with Jesus and the bride, the body of Christ.

7th Resurrection: All souls lived since the creation of the earth

-         Revelation Ch 20: 12-15And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
-         13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
-         14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
-         15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
